Training
At UKFRAS we have a number of qualified personnel who are able to deliver comprehensive, educational and informative training sessions on fire safety.
We can deliver fire awareness courses that are suitable to raise the awareness of all of your employees, and we can deliver Fire Marshal training for those employees chosen to run specific fire evacuation and protection duties.
Both courses can be delivered at our offices in Ellesmere Port, or we can travel to you and deliver the session(s) at your business premises. Both courses are also available as e-learning packages.
Fire Safety Awareness Level 1
This is a basic foundation course in fire safety and is aimed at anyone who requires an improvement in their awareness in this area. The course is designed to meet and comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and covers regulations, the fire triangle, evacuation, fire equipment, good housekeeping, the law, training requirements, calling the Fire & Rescue Service, fire doors, smoke alarms, risk assessing and precautions.
This course is ideal to give all employees basic fire training to increase awareness and cooperation in the event of a fire in the workplace. Awareness will reduce the risk of fires actually breaking out and therefore save lives.

Fire Marshal training level 2
This level 2 course is aimed at anyone who requires training as a Fire Marshal to assist the Responsible Person in the evacuation of a premises and identification of fire issues. The course covers the latest fire safety regulations and the roles and responsibilities of a Fire Marshal. The course is designed to meet and comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. It covers all of the Fire Awareness course content as well as; how fires are started, methods of controlling fire spread, evacuating the building, risk assessing and mitigation against ignition. If you have any specific or bespoke requirements you’d like to be included in your training session, please speak with us and we’ll do what we can to incorporate them into the material.
